Betty Boop

Betty Boop is an animated cartoon character created in 1930 by Max Fleischer with help from animators including Grim Natwick. Her first appearance was in 1930 in the cartoon ’Dizzy Dishes’, the seventh instalment in Fleischer's Talkartoon series. She is a caricature of Helen Kane, an American singer with a child-like voice well-known for her signature song, ‘I Wanna Be Loved by You’.
